Canoeing

The river Tame and Huddersfield Canal run side by side in the area to the west of Greenfield.

Here the local authority have provided a canoe trail within the Tame Valley Country Park. Access can be arranged to Dovestone reservoir, through the local sailing club, for flat water canoeing.
